A graduate of New York's AMDA, Judy Herrera made her professional television debut starring as a deaf youth in the CBS movie, Blue Rodeo (1996) (TV), with Ann-Margret and Kris Kristofferson. She made her feature film debut in East of Hope Street (1998) after performing in the premiere production of the teen-pregnancy themed stage play, Bellyfruit. Bellyfruit was directed and co-written by Kerri Green and played at the L.A.T.C. Mainstage as a benefit for Gramercy Housing Group in Los Angeles.
