George Clinton是美国黑人歌手作家曲唱作人主要风格是FUNK和Soul早期是一位理发师或许他后日在舞台上的个性发型或许是由而此来吧极具舞台表现力是著名乐队Red Hot Chili Peppers中主唱Anthony Kiedis的老师
1958年签约了HULL RECORD公司并发行了Poor Willie和"Party Boys"两张专辑
1959年签约了Flipp Label并录制了Lonely Island和cry
1962-1963年在Jobete Music和Motown当唱作人
1963年与人合作建立了Geo-Si-Mik制作团队
1966年签约了Revilot label并且发行曲单I Wanna Testify
1968年建组团体Funkadelic
1969年Funkadelic签约Westbound并进行首次登台演出
和Red Hot Chili peppers渊的源
以可说Red Hot chili peppers就是George Clinton发现并培养在的红辣椒的早期作品中都是FUNK的元素而且George就是辣红椒主唱Anthony Kiedis的老师教他如何唱歌
在1985年德国Rockpalasst摇滚音乐节上George就当作嘉宾参加过辣红椒的表演
在1993年更是和红辣椒以及其他FUNK歌手组合一起在格莱美晚上会出现
在2012年摇滚名人堂颁奖典礼上红辣主椒唱Anthony也对台下的George Clinton表了示感谢GC也乐开了怀两个加起年来龄有120多岁的人的师徒场令景人动容
