Patrizia Medrano was born in Hollywood California. Daughter of hardworking Mexican parents Francisco and Maria Luz Medrano. Originating from Jalisco and Zacatecas Mexico. The oldest of five children, began her theatrical experience at the age of 6 when her parents enrolled her in tap dance and classical ballet. She continued to study ballet throughout her teen years, and also excelled in Drama and Choir at Montebello High School in Montebello California. Her home town she grew up in.
At the age of 15, she was selected to perform with the prestigious "Folklorico Juvenil" throughout the world. This highly decorated company combined a multitude of dance styles that originated in several regions and states throughout Mexico.
After graduating from high school, Patrizia attended The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles CA, where she earned her degree in Merchandise Marketing and Product Development. Upon her completion, she enrolled at Cal State L.A to pursue her love of theatre. She costarred in several productions including: "Les Miserables," "West Side Story," and "The Wizard of Oz." Upon completion of her studies at Cal State L.A, Patrizia Medrano modeled in fashion shows and became a print promotional model for the popular Corona and Tecate Beer campaigns.
At the same time, she pursued her acting and singing career. She began writing and composing her own music, and still enjoys performing her one woman show. Patrizia is producing and starring in a original play entitled "Pedro y Lola" which had an opening debut in Nov 2011 at the Mexican Consulate of Los Angeles CA. She is a partner of Brazeros Dance/Theater Company which is based in Los Angeles. Producing several projects for the near future.
