Lee Wilkof is an American character actor in film, television and theater. Born in Canton, Ohio in 1951 he was educated at the University of Cincinnati. Upon graduation in 1973 he moved to New York City to study with Austin Pendleton at HB Studios. He appeared in The Present Tense for which he received an Obie award and was soon off to Hollywood. His career has alternated from roles in comedy, drama, musical and non musical theater. He has worked with Bob Fosse, Sidney Lumet, Stephen Sondheim, Howard Ashman and many other film and theater greats. He currently lives in Terryville, Connecticut with his wife Connie Grappo.
