He used to work for the Congress of Racial Equality in sales and then moved on to Martin Luther King's Southern Christian Leadership Conference with Tim Patrick Fliegel who played bass with Cliff Morrison and the Lizard Sun Band. John and Tim worked together for several years from 1974 to 1976.
