Born James Sampson Jr. in the Bronx, New York, he was put into modeling, fashion, talent shows, tap dance and acting classes by his mother. James was also an avid writer and artist as well as an athlete. He attended the New York Academy of Theatrical Arts and the New York High School of Art and Design as a pre-teen and teenager. Competitive boxing and martial arts soon became the main goals in his life as acting and writing took a backseat. Got the acting bug again at the start of the year 2000 and quickly landed acting jobs in television, film and stage. A rap career began after he wrote a song for a play he was acting in. He still writes and records for film and theatre to this day. James biggest role to date was as the lead in the independent political comedy, The Party. James has written and directed a sketch comedy show, Skitz and Gigglezz. Mr. Sampson continues to grow as a complete artist.
