After a career as a professional dancer with Ballet Hispanico of New York and later with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Donald began acting on stage with the prestigious Spanish Repertory Theater in New York City, as well as appearing in commercials, independent films and TV. As a writer, Donald has adapted a number of Japanese anime series, including Zoids Genesis, Honey and Clover, Buso Renkin and Monster. He also wrote, directed, co-produced and played the lead role in Daisies (Brooklyn Film Festival), as well as, the ensemble short titled eMOTION, and the sci-fi short titled AI3, the last two screened at the Cartagena International Film Festival. He also co-produced and starred in the feature film What Comes Around that screened at The New York International Film and Video Festival. In 2001 Donald co-founded Verite Films to begin producing small projects with his partner Rene Veilleux. In the past three years, the company's focus has shifted from a part-time hobby to a full time Independent production company, producing and developing content for Film, Television and the web. Most recently Donald produced the dark comedy The Putt Putt Syndrome, which traveled the festival circuit, was theatrically released in Los Angeles, and is now available on DVD. Donald's commitment to Verite Films as a producer and to his career as an actor is to continue to tell stories that can be both thought provoking and entertaining in every way.
